I'm really backlogged with my blog list, but this post from K. Schneider reminds me why I keep a couple of weeks in my NewsReader archive. A great list of one-liners with some good comments. Does every Library school in the country require their students to read twice as many blogs as textbooks? I doubt it, but they should...I really liked:
- The user is not "remote." You, the librarian, are remote, and it is your job to close that gap.
- If we continue fetishizing the format and ignoring the user, we will be tomorrow's cobblers.
