This editorial by Canada's Governor-General seems to me a passionate statement in support of open access and open data, not to mention the fundamental commitment for scientists and knowledge seekers in all disciplines to share their knowledge freely. Canada's new poster child for the fundamental role of libraries in achieving this goal?
