I find the moves Google is making into this area interesting, but I'm not completely convinced that it is a good idea. A couple of questions that spring to mind are:

How well will the Google ranking method hold up under this new type of information/resource?

How will users be able to find the copies that they can access? (the 'appropriate copy' problem addressed by the OpenURL - will Google adopt the OpenURL, and if so, how will it establish the correct resolver to use for any particular user?)
