OCLC is getting there. (full disclosure: I work at OCLC) The Open WorldCat program allows partners (e.g. Google, Yahoo, and others) to harvest WorldCat records and add them to their search engines. So you can try
"da vinci code site:worldcatlibraries.org" in Google or Yahoo, and see what happens.
